# UX, website and brand design across Ontario

Reviewed 17 October 2026. Canonical page: https://uxpro.ca/locations/ontario

Province-wide work runs on the same process and the same published prices as it does at home. What changes is how often we are in the room, and which provincial rules apply.

Where we work here, and how:

- [Waterloo Region and Guelph](https://uxpro.ca/locations/kitchener-waterloo): In person. Home base.
- [Toronto and the GTA](https://uxpro.ca/locations/toronto-gta): Mostly remote, in person for kick-off or launch on request.
- [Hamilton and Niagara](https://uxpro.ca/locations/ontario#hamilton): Hamilton, Burlington, St. Catharines. Remote by default.
- [Southwestern Ontario](https://uxpro.ca/locations/ontario#london-ontario): London, Windsor, Sarnia, Stratford and Brantford. On a call.
- Eastern Ontario: Ottawa, Kingston, Belleville and Peterborough. On a call.
- Northern Ontario: Barrie, Sudbury, North Bay, Sault Ste. Marie and Thunder Bay. On a call.

How we meet:

- **In person:** Waterloo Region, because the studio is there. Elsewhere, a kick-off or launch on request.
- **Remote:** The first conversation, the brief, the reviews, the staging link and the launch, all on a call and a link.

## How do you choose a UX or design studio in Ontario?

Compare the things you can check: published prices, work that says whether it is a client's or a concept, a process that states what you get at each step, and fluency in Ontario's rules (AODA, PHIPA and the Law Society's marketing rules). UXPro is a Kitchener-Waterloo design studio working across the province on websites, product and app UX, brand identity, pitch decks and search visibility. This page shows how we measure up on each.

| Fact | Value |
|---|---|
| Service area | All of Ontario, and remotely Canada-wide |
| In person | Waterloo Region; elsewhere on request |
| What we make | Websites, product and app UX, brand, decks, search |
| Prices | Three published prices, in Canadian dollars plus HST |
| Work labels | Six studio concepts, each labelled as a concept before you see it |
| Ownership | Your code stays in your repository. You own it. |
| Ontario rules | AODA, PHIPA and LSO review passes |
| Care plans | $250, $650 or $1,200 CAD a month |

## Province-wide: sites, product, brand, decks and an AODA review.

How each service works for an Ontario client outside Waterloo Region.

- [Website design and build](https://uxpro.ca/services/website-design-build): Single and multi-location sites, with a page, profile and enquiry route for each office.
- [UX and UI product design](https://uxpro.ca/services/ux-ui-design): Product and app design for Ontario startups and the software teams inside larger firms.
- [Branding and identity](https://uxpro.ca/services/branding): Identity work that holds across several locations, vehicles and a website at once.
- [Pitch deck design](https://uxpro.ca/services/pitch-deck-design): Investor, lender and grant decks for Ontario founders and owners.
- [AI search visibility](https://uxpro.ca/services/ai-search-geo): Search and AI visibility work so each office is described accurately wherever people look.

## Shortlisting a studio, and the Ontario rules we work with.

Windsor to Ottawa, one accountable lead

Name, place and number:

- **Studio:** UXPro Design Studio
- **Based in:** Kitchener, Ontario, Canada
- **Email:** hello@uxpro.ca
- **Hours:** Monday to Friday, 9 to 5 Eastern
- **Area served:** Kitchener, Waterloo, Cambridge, Guelph, Toronto, Hamilton, London, Ottawa

No street address is published: the studio has none that matches a verified listing, and a local page should not invent one.

### What to compare when you shortlist studios

Rankings of the best agencies are usually written by an agency. A fairer test is whether you can check the claims before you call. We would rather be judged on these than on an adjective.

- Are the prices published, with tax stated?
- Does each project say if it is client work or a concept?
- Does the process say what you get at each step?
- Who owns the code and the accounts afterwards?

### A location page only where there is something real

A page needs an address or a stated service area and something that happened there: a client, a job, a member of staff. Without that it is a city-swapped duplicate, and those get filtered. It is the advice we give clients and the rule we hold our own pages to, which is why Hamilton and London are sections below rather than pages.

### One profile and one route per office

Each office gets its own Google Business Profile, and its name, address and phone match the site character for character. Forms route by office and by service, landing in email and in a spreadsheet record at the same time, so no enquiry depends on one inbox.

### Ontario rules we work with

Law firms work under the Law Society of Ontario's marketing rules. Clinics that collect health information online work under PHIPA. Organisations with 50 or more Ontario employees must meet WCAG 2.0 Level AA on their public website under the AODA. We offer a review pass for each, and the legal reading stays with your counsel.

## Hamilton and London, as sections until there is more to say.

Each becomes a page of its own only when there is a client there or a regular meeting arrangement to describe.

### Hamilton

Hamilton is about an hour from the studio. A Hamilton client gets the same process as everyone else: a kick-off call, a written brief, reviews on a call and a staging link from the first build week. What is different is that meetings are remote by default, and we come in person for the kick-off or the launch on request.

- In our index: 19 sites measured. Median simulated mobile LCP 8.8 s (n = 19); 95% of 19 took longer than 2.5 s.
- Clinics, trades and professional firms: the same sector pages apply
- Remote by default, in person for kick-off or launch on request
- The same published prices as Kitchener
- Your own Google profile and Hamilton address do the local ranking

*No Hamilton client work is published on this site yet. This section becomes its own page when there is a Hamilton client or a regular meeting arrangement to describe.*

### London, Ontario

London is roughly an hour and a half west along the 401. London practices, shops and founders, including those building on research around Western University, can work with us on calls and shared links, with a trip for the kick-off or launch when the project warrants it. Product and deck work in particular runs well remotely.

- In our index: 17 sites measured. Median simulated mobile LCP 9.1 s (n = 17); 100% of 17 took longer than 2.5 s.
- Practices, retail and founders: websites, brand, product and decks
- Remote by default, in person for kick-off or launch on request
- The same published prices as Kitchener
- Southwestern Ontario towns nearby are covered the same way

*No London client work is published on this site yet. This section becomes its own page when there is a London client or a regular meeting arrangement to describe.*

## What we measured across Ontario

This is the page where the index is local. It sampled chamber and board-of-trade directories in London, Ottawa, Barrie, Hamilton, Mississauga, Markham, Richmond Hill and Milton, and measured 187 practice homepages on a simulated phone. Each city below counts only the rows the dataset records under that city's name.

- Markham: 32 sites measured. Median simulated mobile LCP 4.9 s (n = 31); 90% of 31 took longer than 2.5 s.
- Barrie: 27 sites measured. Median simulated mobile LCP 9.0 s (n = 27); 89% of 27 took longer than 2.5 s.
- Mississauga: 24 sites measured. Median simulated mobile LCP 6.6 s (n = 23); 91% of 23 took longer than 2.5 s.
- Hamilton: 19 sites measured. Median simulated mobile LCP 8.8 s (n = 19); 95% of 19 took longer than 2.5 s.
- Richmond Hill: 18 sites measured. Median simulated mobile LCP 5.8 s (n = 17); 100% of 17 took longer than 2.5 s.
- London: 17 sites measured. Median simulated mobile LCP 9.1 s (n = 17); 100% of 17 took longer than 2.5 s.
- Ottawa: 13 sites measured. Median simulated mobile LCP 7.7 s (n = 13); 85% of 13 took longer than 2.5 s.
- Milton: 7 sites measured. Median simulated mobile LCP 8.3 s (n = 7); 71% of 7 took longer than 2.5 s.
- Toronto: 6 sites measured. Median simulated mobile LCP 7.4 s (n = 5); 100% of 5 took longer than 2.5 s.
- Thornhill: 5 sites measured. Median simulated mobile LCP 6.8 s (n = 5); 100% of 5 took longer than 2.5 s.
- All Ontario sites in the edition: 187 sites measured. Median simulated mobile LCP 7.4 s (n = 183); 93% of 183 took longer than 2.5 s.

*A convenience sample, one run per site. Communities the dataset records under their own name, such as Ancaster, are not added to Hamilton's count.*

## Work that fits this page, each piece labelled.

The process does not change with distance. Here is the live project closest to home, with the shop's own figures, and a brand engagement shown anonymised at the client's request.

- **[Orient Barber Shop](https://uxpro.ca/work/orient-barber-shop)** (Barber shop · full site · Client-reported): Booking moved above the fold, confirmations and reminders wired to the phone in the visitor's hand, and the Google Business Profile rebuilt to say what the site says. Their figures, their comparison; we did not audit them.
- **[Latitude](https://uxpro.ca/work/latitude)** (Budget travel · identity · Client work, anonymised): One yellow, a mark with no small parts, and the applications a travel brand is actually read on — a van panel, the side of a bus, a transit poster, a roadside board. Each colour's job is stated, which is the part of a guide that gets used. Client work, anonymised at the client's request. No traffic or booking figures claimed.

The Orient figures are the shop's own, reported to us; we did not audit them. Latitude is client work, anonymised at the client's request: no traffic or booking figures are claimed.

## One price list for the whole province.

Single-office practices usually start on Growth; multi-location firms need Premium, with a care plan to keep each office's details current. The figures are the same in Windsor as in Ottawa.

Prices:

- Growth website: From $3,500 CAD + HST. A custom site of five to ten pages. Typically four to six weeks.
- Premium website: From $7,500 CAD + HST. A full custom build of fifteen to thirty pages. Typically eight to twelve weeks.
- Care plans: $250, $650 or $1,200 CAD a month
- Product, brand and decks: One fixed quote after the first conversation, agreed before work starts.

## Ontario questions: Hamilton, London, AODA, French and branches.

### Which Ontario cities does your website index cover?

London, Ottawa, Barrie, Hamilton, Mississauga, Markham, Richmond Hill and Milton, through their chamber and board-of-trade directories: 187 law, clinic and accounting homepages in the 2026-10b edition. Each city's count, median mobile LCP and share slower than 2.5 seconds is on this page, and the rows and method are open in the index.

### Do you meet clients in Hamilton or London?

Remotely by default, and in person for the kick-off or the launch walkthrough on request. Hamilton is about an hour from the studio and London about an hour and a half, so a trip is easy to plan around a milestone.

### Is the price different outside Waterloo Region?

No. Standard From $1,500 CAD + HST (typically two to three weeks), Growth From $3,500 CAD + HST (typically four to six weeks) and Premium From $7,500 CAD + HST (typically eight to twelve weeks), and care plans at $250, $650 and $1,200 a month. Distance does not change the published prices; the quote is fixed before work starts.

### Which Ontario businesses have to meet AODA on their website?

Designated public-sector organisations, and private or non-profit organisations with 50 or more employees in Ontario, must make their public websites meet WCAG 2.0 Level AA. Smaller organisations are not bound by the website section, though other parts of the regulation may still reach them. Your counsel can confirm where you stand.

### Can one site serve English and French offices?

Yes. Each language gets its own pages and URLs, linked to each other with hreflang, and each office keeps its own profile and routing. French copy is quoted as its own line, because it has to be written for the reader rather than run through a translator.

### How many location pages should a multi-office firm have?

One per office, or per service area you genuinely cover with something to show. Three pages with real detail beat fifteen with the city name swapped, which get filtered and make the rest of the site look thin.

### How do enquiries reach the right branch?

Forms route by location and by service type, and every submission lands in email and in a spreadsheet record at the same time, so one missed inbox does not mean a lost client.

### Are you the best UX agency in Ontario?

We do not rank ourselves, and you should be wary of anyone who does. Use the checklist on this page: published prices, labelled work, a stated process, Ontario rules and ownership. Then ask for a Redline of your own site and judge the thinking directly.
