# Ellery Quiet Dental (Concept) — What actually happens at my first visit?

**Concept.** Concept — no client, nothing shipped, no metrics.

> No client commissioned it and no business has been measured against it. Any figure on this page is a projection, and its assumptions are printed with it.

A clinic for people who have put off the dentist for years. We designed the site around the question they will not ask out loud, and let them book without a phone call.

## Facts

| Fact | Value |
|---|---|
| Our role | Self-initiated study |
| Scope | See what the first visit is like, pick a procedure price, book quietly |
| Constraints | People who are afraid of the dentist do not put off booking because booking is hard; they put it off because they cannot picture the hour. |
| Status | Studio concept · nothing shipped · nothing measured |

## The question

*What actually happens at my first visit?*

People who are afraid of the dentist do not put off booking because booking is hard; they put it off because they cannot picture the hour.

So the site answers the unknown first: the first visit minute by minute, what you will hear, who speaks, and what five common procedures cost.

Then it lets them book without a call and without a health question, because the conversation about their health belongs in the room, sitting upright, when they are ready.

## Decisions

Three decisions, each as a strike, an insertion and a numbered reason.

- The first visit is a timetable, not a promise.
- Five prices are published, with what moves them.
- Book quietly asks for a name and one way to reach you.

## What we did not do

- A medical-history form to fill in before the visit
- A live-chat bubble that opens on every page
- Close-up photographs of smiling teeth
- “Only 2 times left this week” countdowns

## Why we made this

Nothing was shipped and nothing was measured.

Clinic websites tend to treat booking as a scheduling problem and solve it with a better calendar. For a large group of people the calendar was never the obstacle; not knowing what happens in the room is. We wanted to see what a clinic site looks like when the first screen answers that fear plainly, prices included, and when the booking form is designed around what it refuses to collect.

## Validation

Nothing has been validated. Nobody has used it.

### The limits

- Ellery is invented. Nobody has used this site, and nothing on this page was measured.
- The booking is simulated in the prototype; nothing is sent and no appointment exists.
- Prices and times are illustrative. A real clinic would publish its own, checked against its fee guide.
- The screens are our renders of the prototype.
