What we have done, and what is still wrong.

Our target is WCAG 2.2 level AA. This page says what is in place, what is not measured yet, and how to tell us about a barrier.

Our commitment

We aim to meet WCAG 2.2 level AA on this site and on every site we build. Under the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, and the Integrated Accessibility Standards Regulation made under it, Ontario websites are held to WCAG level AA, and public-sector and large organisations have had to meet it since 2021.

We build to that standard for every client, whatever their size, because it is the same work either way.

What is in place on this site

  • Every page renders and reads with JavaScript switched off.
  • One h1 per page, headings in order, and a skip link to the main content.
  • Visible focus rings on every interactive element, and a keyboard path through the navigation, the disclosures, the accordions and both forms.
  • Labels above every form field, hints that are read out with the field, and errors listed at the top of the page in the same words as the message beside the field.
  • Animation is removed when your device asks for reduced motion, and there is a switch on this site to do the same thing by hand.
  • Touch targets are at least 44 by 44 pixels.
  • Real alt text on every image, describing what the picture shows.

What is not right yet

We publish our own audit, with dated readings, and these points are not closed yet.

  • On 8 October 2026 Lighthouse's accessibility audit, which includes an automated contrast check, scored 100 on four pages: the home page, Pricing, Start a project and the research index. That is an automated reading of four pages, not a person reading every colour pair on every page, and that full read is still to do.
  • The site has not yet had a full screen-reader pass with NVDA and VoiceOver, or an axe run in continuous integration.

How to report a barrier

Email hello@uxpro.ca and say which page and what happened. Plain words are fine — 'the text was too small to read on my phone' is a useful report.

We reply, we tell you whether we can fix it and when, and we will give you the information another way in the meantime. We have not put a reply window in writing, so this page does not quote one. If you would rather not use the form, an email reaches the same person.

Other formats

Anything on this site can be sent to you as plain text, large print or over the phone, at no cost. Just ask.

If anything on this page is unclear, ask and we will rewrite it. A policy nobody can follow is not a policy.
