Alt text: every image described

Each image on the site carries alt text that says what the picture shows. The illustration on the about page is labelled as an illustration rather than a photograph.

Pass·Measured on 17 September 2026·Our own audit, point 08

Target, not a result: Real alt text on every image

The whole audit

Method

axe and a manual read: the alt text says what the picture shows, not what the file is called

Limits of this reading

• A pre-launch reading of the rebuilt site, not of the live uxpro.ca; the deployed site can differ.
• A pass holds for this date and this build only; the point is re-checked on every update.
