Canonical addresses: self-referencing on 117 pages, other hosts redirected

All 117 sitemap pages carry a canonical address equal to their own https://uxpro.ca address. http://uxpro.ca and https://www.uxpro.ca each answer one 308 to https://uxpro.ca, and the old uxpro-site.vercel.app address 308s to the same path on uxpro.ca. http://www.uxpro.ca takes two hops (first to https://www.uxpro.ca, then to https://uxpro.ca): it arrives, but not in one step.

PassMeasured on Our own audit, point 07

Target, not a result: One canonical address per page, absolute and self-referencing

The whole auditRaw observations, 19 October 2026 (JSON)

Method

The rendered head of every sitemap page on the live site, plus a header request (curl -sI) to each other host and scheme

Limits of this reading

  • The two-hop path from http://www.uxpro.ca is recorded here as found; a later dated record shows whether it is shortened to one.
  • A reading of the live uxpro.ca on this date, under its production configuration; a later deployment can differ.
  • A pass holds for this date and this build only; the point is re-checked on every update.
