UX & Redesign

Should I audit my site, redesign it, or hire someone new?

Audit when the site gets traffic but few enquiries; redesign when it is slow or wrong everywhere. Either way, compare studios on published prices, two projects like yours, and who owns the files.

What Is a UX Audit and What Do You Actually Get?

A UX audit is a structured review of an existing website or product against established usability principles, delivered as a prioritised, page-specific list of fixes with a rough size on each.

A typical UX audit finding
  1. Finding

Struck: Consider improving your call to action. Inserted: Contact page, on a phone: the submit button sits below the fold once the form is filled. Move it up or shorten the form. Small fix.

  2. Evidence

Services menu: "Solutions" hides the three services people search for. Rename the items to the service names.

  3. Priority

Ranked: four small fixes first, two medium fixes next, one structural question for a redesign.

Invented from patterns that recur across many sites. No real business is depicted; any resemblance is the pattern, not the firm.
